Chiropractic

Chiropractic

Chiropractic care is a safe, hands-on approach to treat conditions of the musculoskeletal system. This non-invasive therapy was discovered in 1895. The word Chiropractic means, “to be done by hand”.

However, many chiropractors perform adjustments with instruments in addition to using their hands to adjust the spine and other joints. Chiropractic is not limited to the spine. All moveable joints of the body including the arms, legs, and ribs can be adjusted. Chiropractic care is a whole health approach to health care.

Trigger Point Dry Needling

Trigger Point Dry Needling is a deep tissue approach to releasing and relieving muscle spasms and trigger points. Needles similar to the ones used in acupuncture are used to treat problematic areas.

Many people that have undergone treatment find relief within 1-2 treatments. Common complaints that benefit from this form of treatment are neck pain, cervicogenic headaches, shin splints, and piriformis syndrome, just to name a few. Trigger Point Dry Needling is especially beneficial when combined with chiropractic care to ensure that the muscle and joint are functioning properly.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture

Acupuncture a system of complementary medicine that originated in China over 2000 years ago. It involves using sterile needles, cups, and GuaSha tools to alleviate pain and to treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions by balancing "Qi" (life force energy). Qi flows through the body via meridians that are like energy highways through our bodies. When there is an imbalance in the meridians it can result in various health conditions.

Dr. Gebaide is certified in acupuncture and she use this treatment for anxiety, depression, neck pain, lower back pain, headaches, insomnia, and menopausal symptoms to name a few. Treatments times last 25-50 minutes based on the needs of the patient.
